Butter-Lie Detector
I created a butterfly lamp that you can put on a desk or table in hopes of using it to pick your outfits in the morning based on the weather. Once plugged in, this lamp uses heat and cold sensitivity in order to light the lamp up in different colors depending on the temperature. I created 5 different temperature intervals that correlate to 5 different colors. At temperatures under 30 degrees, the light turns purple, then between 30 and 45 the light turns blue. Between 45 and 60 the light is cyan while between 60 and 75 the light is green. Finally, at any temperature over 75, the light turns red. I used a 3D printer to create the base of the butterfly lamp and used the laser cutter to cut the wings of the butterfly. I programmed an Arduino and NeoPixels to create the intervals leading to different color lights.
